Say hello to The Pink Zebra – Feast India Co, designed by Renesa Architecture Design Interiors Studio and float into the surrealist (or shall we call it fabulist) world of Wes Anderson. Set against a backdrop of old buildings, the incongruous façade strangely blends in, while standing out.
The stark black and white stripes in a sea of bubble gum pink lend the space a playful twist. We love how the slats on the ceiling allow natural light to peep inside in stripes that beautifully juxtapose with the stripes on the floor to create a dramatic effect.
Oh, and is that Malika Favre‘s artwork we spy?
They say captivating things are often found in the most unusual places, we couldn’t agree more. The 4000 sqft packed with personality has definitely put Kanpur on the design map.
