Ranveer Brar is one of the most celebrated chefs in India. That being said, he is also a TV show host, judge, food stylist, and an author. I mean, if him being one of the judges of MasterChef India alongside Sanjeev Kapoor doesn’t tell you what a big deal he is, I don’t know what will.
It’s not every day that you get to see what a celebrity chef’s home looks like but thanks to our in-house serial home invader Priyam Saha and Pepperfry we got to invade Chef Ranveer‘s house! And if you need to know anything about Team MissMalini, then it is that we’re a bunch of foodies. So you can imagine how thrilled we were for this one.
All of us experienced this sudden shift from chaos to serenity just as we stepped into Ranveer’s edgy new Juhu apartment. Everything was neat, clean and super modern. The first thing you notice in the house is a reading space that is set up with a black and white bohemian accent chair, a modern bookshelf and decorated with the cutest family pictures of Ranveer’s wife and little son on the wall. My favourite thing about the whole house was that it may have been sophisticated and modern with an overall theme of white but Ranveer had managed to add a pop of colour with the help of some of his furniture like his dining table chairs.
But of course, since we were invading a chef’s space we weren’t going to just stand around in the living room. Ranveer was sweet enough to invite Priyam into his kitchen as well and it was exactly what you’d imagine a chef’s kitchen to be. A spick and span modular kitchen that has everything a chef needs within an arms reach. This, Ranveer says is how it should be for you to have the perfect cooking experience! Who knew right? Meanwhile, he also told Priyam about everything that went into setting up his brand new home and even schooled her on making a cheese omelette.
You can buy the black and white accent chair here, the beige rug here and the multicolour dining chair here.
Thank you for being so warm and wonderful, Ranveer! P.S. – We’ll never forget the omelette masterclass you gave Priyam!
