Is ‘plant lady’ the new ‘cat lady’?

From the succulent obsession that went full blown to a terrarium thing to having a monstera (deliciosa) moment – one scroll down your ‘gram, and that’s all you see. Why is greenery so big right now, we wonder! Is it just about aesthetics or are the plant lady memes here to stay?

A recent Garden Survey (yes, we’re as surprised as you are to know something like this exists) says that more people are taking up gardening than ever and a significant percentage of them are millennials. If we had to fathom a guess on why this is happening, maybe it’s because plants are an inexpensive way of decorating and injecting life into a space, quite literally?

Plants, or photosynthesising roomies as one might call them, are also therapeutic, they lower stress and improve well-being. It’s time to bring yourself back down to earth a bit.

If you’ve been guilty of killing a plant or two, fear not. The biggest reason for a black thumb is over-watering. There, now that you know it, shop for a variety of seeds, plants, planters and give your space an on-point green touch!
