Why Maximalism Will Never Go Out Of Style.

The Swedish aesthetic of Lagom (meaning – just right, not too little, not too much) might be in trend now, but is it really practical? The concept of minimalism might be lost on us, Indians! Isn’t home décor all about showcasing? Isn’t your home supposed to be a personal museum of sorts, featuring all the stuff you’ve collected (or hoarded)? Souvenirs from countries you’ve travelled to, heirlooms that were passed on to you, paraphernalia you’ve accumulated at fairs and flea markets – where does all this go? While all this might seem extra on paper, if done with a little bit of restraint, it can look very put together.

Oh, and in the spirit of full disclosure, we take an instant liking to unabashed maximalists. You don’t follow the herd, you follow your heart! Here’s some inspiration, just for your eyes.
